As we approach the end of the year, an evening of celebration was held to celebrate the club’s and rowers’ achievements.

The Great River Race is billed as London’s River Marathon; a 21.6-mile race under 28 bridges from Millwall in the east to Richmond in the west.

The Madog Dash really should come with a health warning as it’s fair to say that far from being a dash, it's an absolutely brutal race.

Seen by many as their favourite race of the season, it was no surprise that a field of 24 boats took to the start line of this year’s Puffin Island Race.

It has become a tradition at Beaumaris Rowing Club to arrange an early morning row to watch the sun rise on the longest day.

As is always the case with our home league race we had a very strong showing with 14 BRC boats out in the three races
